We're seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to help improve how infrastructure services are experienced by customers. Based in Sydney, this role sits within the Technology Infrastructure Team and supports the Infrastructure Customer Experience Improvement Program by identifying pain points, analysing processes, and designing more customer‐centred ways of working. There is potential for this role to be job‐shared.
You'll work closely with customers and technology teams to map journeys, uncover insights, and drive practical, continuous improvements. Prior infrastructure experience isn't required—what matters most is a strong technical foundation, analytical thinking, curiosity, and empathy.
What's the role?
* Explore and map current and future customer journeys, processes, and service touchpoints
* Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities
* Analyse data and experience metrics to measure outcomes and improvement impact
* Apply continuous improvement practices informed by Lean Six Sigma principles
* Identify root causes and co‐design practical, customer‐focused solutions
* Document insights, journey maps, and process designs (e.g. using Figma)
* Communicate clearly across technical and non‐technical audiences
What do I need?
* Experience as a Business Analyst in a technology‐enabled environment
* Strong customer‐centric mindset with journey and process mapping experience
* Confidence using data to support insight‐driven decisions
* Exposure to Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or continuous improvement (or willingness to learn)
* Clear, empathetic communication and strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions
* Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Power Platform
* Strong problem‐solving, analytical, and design thinking capability
* Capability in process and workflow design, with interest in automation and AI‐enabled ways of working
