Job Description
We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant - Hybrid Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join us on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis. You will deliver psychological interventions, assessments, and workplace rehabilitation services to help clients build better lives through work and health.
Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking psychological assessments, field visits, initial, worksite, functional, and early intervention assessments
Conducting Vocational and Adjustment to Injury Counselling
Identifying psychological, social, and RTW barriers; designing, implementing, and monitoring programs to assist injured employees
Undertaking vocational assessments and transferable skills analyses
Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve optimal outcomes
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include:
An Australian-recognized degree in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
Full accreditation from AHPRA or ASORC, or the ability to obtain it
Willingness to undertake additional studies as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by WorkFocus Australia
Willingness to travel (a current vehicle and driver’s license are essential)
Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills, punctuality, and time management
