ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and stability of our company. You will work closely with the CFO and other key stakeholders to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the company's financial objectives are achieved and its growth trajectory is sustained.
Some of your duties will include:
* Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
* Analyse financial data, trends, and performance indicators, providing actionable insights to the CFO and Executive team.
* Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, with a focus on key performance metrics.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
* Monitor and analyse revenue streams, including rental income, ancillary services, and fleet utilisation, to optimise profitability.
* Implement strategies to minimise costs, such as fleet maintenance, fuel expenses, and procurement.
* Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.

ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience as a Finance Accountant or in a similar financial management role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
* Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques, with an understanding of key industry metrics (e.g., utilisation rates, revenue per vehicle, average rental duration).
* Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
* Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
