This role is part of Moore Australia’s national shared services function, which supports the independent firms and has a focus on maintaining the network’s System of Quality Management (SoQM). The role reports to the Board of Moore Australia via the independent Chair of Moore Australia as well as having responsibility to the National Quality Committee (NQC). As we are a highly connected network, this role may also include delivering services to our colleagues in New Zealand and some Asia Pacific countries. As National Head of Quality, your key responsibilities will include: The network’s SoQM to ensure it is in accordance with ASQM 1, ASQM 2, APES 320 and future relevant standards Oversee and monitor compliance with skilled standards, legal and regulatory obligations, and network/firm policies (including, but not limited to APES 110, Corporations Act, TPB requirements and ASIC/ATO obligations) Oversight of the Internal Monitoring Program (IMP) of the various service lines and annual reporting to the Moore Australia Board and Moore Global Providing quality and ethics advice/training to the Moore Australia Board, NQC and firms as and when required Oversight and coordination of external reviews/investigations including, but not limited to, CAANZ, ASIC, TPB, PCAOB Management and oversight of external reviews/investigations remediation requirements Management and oversight of the network risk register and working in conjunction with individual firms and the Board to ensure all risks are reported and addressed in a timely manner Ensuring any mandatory training required relating to quality and ethics is delivered/made available to all firms General management of quality related matters as they arise. About you:
The successful candidate will have: Minimum 8 years’ experience working in a professional services/standards or compliance environment Qualified CA/CPA High-level presentation, written, verbal communication, research, and interpersonal skills Previous experience delivering training Demonstrated competence in the interpretation and application of APESB standards, ASQM 1, ASQM 2, APES 110, APES 320, ethical frameworks and regulatory requirements of CAANZ, ASIC, ATO and TPB Awareness of applicable international quality and ethical standards and frameworks Ability and willingness to travel interstate and New Zealand (and occasionally further afield) as required What we offer:
