About the Role
As the Seaford based Centre Manager – Active Choices you will lead centre-based and community programs that empower customers to achieve their goals and exercise choice and control. You'll oversee service delivery, financial sustainability, quality, compliance, and most importantly - people.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining service excellence, operational oversight, and people leadership within the NDIS environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead high-quality, outcome-focused centre-based and community programs
* Build strong partnerships with customers, families, and support networks
* Oversee onboarding of new customers in collaboration with Intake & Planning
* Ensure service agreements, care plans, and customer goals are met and reviewed
* Monitor financial performance, staffing levels, and workforce utilisation
* Ensure facilities are safe, fit-for-purpose, and well maintained
* Manage customer feedback, complaints, and incidents in line with policy
People Leadership
* Lead, coach, and support Program Leaders and Support Workers
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
* Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
* Monitor KPIs, support performance improvement, and lead effective team meetings
* Compliance, Safety & Quality
* Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, legislation, and organisational policies
* Participate in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Promote a safe workplace through training, reporting, and risk management
* Administration
* Oversee customer, workforce, and operational data accuracy
* Support NDIS approvals and billing processes
* Assist with invoices, reporting, and operational documentation as required
About You
You are a confident and compassionate leader with strong NDIS knowledge and a passion for empowering people with disability. You bring commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
You will have:
* A tertiary qualification in Disability, Community Services, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the disability or community services sector
* At least 2 years' experience in a management or leadership role
* Strong working knowledge of the NDIS, legislation, and Quality & Safeguards
* Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* Intermediate computer and digital systems proficiency
