About The Role
Analysing large datasets of both structured and unstructured data to discover trends and patterns.
Developing machine learning algorithms and crafting generative AI prompts.
Deploying modelling solutions into operational practices, applying systematic test plans and quality assurance processes to ensure quality and integrity.
Creating user and training documentation for deployed solutions.
Working in a cross-functional capacity to understand key business problems that need to be addressed and proposing solutions.
Mentoring, educating, and inspiring others within the team and across the business around the value of data science methods and best practices.
Collaborating with broader Data and Analytics teams to ensure robust, scalable, and sustainable advanced analytics solutions are delivered to solve business problems.
About You
Proven experience in a Data Scientist role, applying data science methods to solve complex business problems within a commercial setting.
Experience or strong interest in creating generative AI prompts and agents.
Demonstrated expertise in Python and SQL, applying these languages for data engineering, machine learning or generative AI modeling, as well as model monitoring.
Experience working with Databricks (preferred).
Degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (or equivalent).
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and deliver pragmatic, commercially viable solutions.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
