Our Opportunity
Due to continued growth, NEPEAN Power is seeking an experienced Site Services Manager to join our team based at our Mackay Workshop. This role is responsible for coordinating underground coal electrical site services across multiple client sites, while providing strong leadership and technical support to our electrical service teams.
This position suits an experienced underground coal electrical professional who can work autonomously, manage competing priorities and build strong client relationships while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.
Your Role
As the Site Services Manager, you will oversee and coordinate electrical trade activities across multiple underground coal sites, ensuring service delivery is safe, compliant and aligned with customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating electrical trade activities across multiple underground coal sites
* Planning labour, equipment, materials and daily and weekly work schedules
* Liaising with internal stakeholders including engineering and project management teams
* Engaging with external stakeholders such as suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and clients
* Ensuring smooth and reliable site service delivery
* Maintaining compliance with WHS, environmental and Coal Mining Health and Safety legislation
* Developing, coaching and mentoring the electrical site services team
* Providing technical electrical support to site service technicians
While the role is based at the Mackay Workshop, you will also be required to:
* Travel to client sites and conduct underground workplace and equipment inspections
* Provide leave coverage for team members as required
* Support the site services team with electrical inspections, testing and equipment modifications
The Right Person
We are seeking a highly capable and safety focused professional with strong leadership and coordination experience in the underground coal environment.
You will bring:
* Electrical Fitter Mechanic trade qualification
* S123 and G2 Supervisor qualifications
* Previous site services experience within the underground coal industry
* Minimum two years experience in a supervisory or coordination role underground
* Strong ability to work autonomously and manage multiple work fronts
* Proven experience building effective teams and developing customer relationships
* Strong technical electrical knowledge and problem solving capability
