**About the role**
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven leader to step into an outstanding role within our. As the
**Specialist Training Manager** you will lead a sizeable team of training specialists to plan and deliver project training programs to Passenger Delivery Frontline staff and Train Services Drivers to support Melbourne's rail transformation and big build projects. This role is responsible to oversee development of project training programs and provide operational advice on delivery.
**About you**
You will be a highly effective communicator with proven people leadership experience and a strong ability to mentor and coach a team within a dynamic operating environment or similar. In addition, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience train or passenger operations
- Ability to work across multiple and complex projects (exposure to such as MTP, HCMT, X'Trap 2.0 will be highly regarded)
- Ability to follow occupational health, safety and environmental procedures in the rail industry
- Ability to identify and analyse risks, and make corrective actions or escalate
- Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to
