The Opportunity
We are looking for a Parts Interpreter for our Launceston Branch.
To be successful, you will be a confident self-starter and have a passion for agricultural and small construction machinery, an open mind for the rural lifestyle and demonstrate the following attributes.
As Parts Interpreter, your responsibilities will include:
Providing sales and service of parts to customers
Ordering stock
Receipting stock
Picking and packing freight
Assisting the workshop staff with the purchase of parts for machinery
Maintaining stock levels in the showroom
Stocktaking, inventory and warehouse maintenance
Updating the system in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy
Assist all customers with sales queries
Making sales to lifestyle customers
Passing on all other sales leads to the best-suited Sales Rep
All other duties as required by management
Person Specification
As a successful Parts Interpreter, you will have:
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to think clearly, analyse data and act accordingly
Problem-solving skills
An ability to manage your workload to achieve set outcomes
Mechanical aptitude and experience
Effective time management and prioritisation skills
Computer Software experience
An ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and limited supervision
Be a team player who works with initiative, commitment and a positive attitude
Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments.
Drivers Licence
Forklift License preferred but not essential.
