We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a challenging role in the field of sensor systems maintenance and repair. This position is part of our Scylla In Service Support Team, where you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of complex equipment fitted to Collins class submarines.
As a key member of our team, your primary duties will include conducting maintenance and/or repair tasks professionally, leading technical aspects of maintenance tasks, and communicating effectively with supervisors and maintenance managers to ensure task progression and reporting of relevant issues.
You will also be responsible for developing documents and capturing information within information systems related to maintenance and/or repair activities. Additionally, you will assist the inventory management team in receiving, packaging, and dispatching GFE/CFE as required.
In terms of essential skills and qualifications, we are looking for individuals with a Cert IV in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, as well as experience in fault finding, analysis, and documentation of processes and results. Previous experience working within a Defence or Defence Industry environment is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Electrical Engineering Cert IV or equivalent
* Cert IV in Information Technology (networking)
* Experience in fault finding including analysis and documentation of process and results.
* Previous experience working within a Defence or Defence Industry environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Advanced skills in MS Office
