**The role**:
Reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and organised coordination of day-to-day warehouse and inventory related activities at the Tullamarine branch.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction being the primary goal
- Implementing OH&S requirements and systems
- Maintaining stocktake and inventory integrity with high standards of reporting and traceability of all documents and our inventory management system.
- Lead by example in daily warehousing operations including loading and unloading goods, picking orders, replenishments, managing back-orders, invoicing, reconciling stock levels etc.
- Seeking and implementing improvements in operating systems
- Building strong relationships with all transport companies and packaging suppliers to ensure optimum service levels are maintained and costs minimised.
- Ensuring the achievement of KPIs and requests are met in a timely and professional manner.

To be successful in this role:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a warehouse operations role - having worked in a supervisor or management role desireable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Client focused and results driven
- You have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- You're a collaborative leader who loves to get your hands dirty alongside the warehouse team and lead by perfect example.
- Current forklift licence and are comfortable lifting weights up to 20kg.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills and strong technical competence with inventory management software.
