Total Remuneration Package: valued at up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to $133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Taree High School, situated in the Manning Valley, educates a diverse community of 680 students, including a significant 22% representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with autism (secondary) and mild to moderate intellectual disabilities (secondary) with demonstrated ability to implement strategies to meet student individual needs.
Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing with the ability to develop and effectively implement individual learning plans, behaviour support plans and risk management plans with all stakeholders while providing a culture of high expectations for all students in a multistage setting.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work collaboratively, proactively and professionally with colleagues, parents, carers, school learning support officers, support agencies and the wider community.
Conditions: An unconditional full approval to teach is required. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply. If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE.
