Responsibilities include providing mental health expertise, supportive advice, and clinical care to those presenting with complex mental health concerns, collaborating with mental health and paediatric services within the Emergency Department and inpatient facilities at the North West Regional Hospital.This newly created role involves offering treatment recommendations and specialist support to Emergency Department staff, inpatient units, other health professionals, and community support organizations.
It also includes assisting with clinical decision-making and the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to facilitate a person-centred and recovery-focused approach.The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) in Tasmania is expanding.
We seek passionate clinicians to serve children, young people, and their families experiencing complex mental health issues.
