We are seeking a hands-on Mobile Automation Tester to join a high-performing delivery team supporting a growing mobile portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with strong automation capability across iOS and Android who enjoys working in Agile environments and contributing to high-quality digital experiences.
About the Role
As a Tester, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the regression automation suite while supporting functional testing activities across active projects. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update regression automation suites to ensure full test coverage
* Design, develop, and execute automation scripts aligned to project requirements
* Perform functional testing to support project delivery and resourcing needs
* Analyse production issues and assist with timely resolution and release management
* Execute API testing and validate system integrations
* Support penetration, performance, and UAT testing activities
* Identify test scenarios in collaboration with developers and BAs
* Proactively remove blockers to keep delivery on track
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in mobile automation testing (Android & iOS)
* Proficiency with automation tools and languages such as Espresso, Java, or Swift
* Hands-on API testing experience using tools like Postman
* Solid understanding of Agile delivery and CI practices
* Experience managing defects through structured testing processes
* Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
* Familiarity with performance and security testing methodologies
Highly Regarded
* Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
* Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
* Playwright experience
* Knowledge of AI productivity tools for test automation workflows
