We are seeking experienced Painters and Blasters to assist with structural integrity project and general maintenance works on fixed plant assets around the Pilbara region. Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning surfaces prior to and after surface preparation to specification.
* Mixing paint according to instructions, selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
* Use of hand tools, such as: paint brushes; rollers; sanding blocks; wallpaper cutters; trimming knives; and fillers and spatulas.
* Ensure protective coatings are applied using brush, roller, and spray equipment.
* Applying paints to surfaces using all forms of brushes and roller nap types, using appropriate techniques to minimise drips, runs, and brush marks, and to maintain straight edges.
* Ensure all finished coatings have been verified and inspected after coating has been completed.
* Ensure all coatings complies with standards and specifications that meets Industry, Customer, and Business System requirements.
Requirements
* Trade certificate preferred but not essential.
* Confined Space Entry.
* Gas Testing Atmosphere.
* Basic Fire.
* Working at Heights.
* Proof of Right to Work in Australia.
