As an Associate Network Engineer, you will support the design, implementation and operation of our client's network infrastructure. You will collaborate with network architecture, engineering, build and run teams to deliver high-performance, secure and automated network services.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist delivery of network transformation initiatives, including routing/traffic migrations and new infrastructure enablement.
* Support network automation efforts by identifying manual processes suitable for automation.
* Provide Level 2 troubleshooting, incident resolution and performance monitoring.
* Execute network changes for projects and BAU activities.
* Participate in network design and implementation under guidance of senior engineers.
* Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance network efficiency, scalability and reliability.
* Provide on‑call support as required.
Qualifications & Certifications
* IT‑related degree (preferred).
* Certifications such as CCNA (preferred), JNCIA or Network+.
Foundational Technical Skills
* Understanding of switches, routers and firewalls.
* Practical experience through study, labs or early‑career roles.
* Basic Python or network automation skills.
* Basic Git/GitHub experience.
* Awareness of ITIL (especially Change Management) and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Nice to Have
* Coding experience: Python, Ruby.
* Exposure to observability tools (Elastic, Splunk, SolarWinds).
* SD‑WAN troubleshooting/implementation experience.
* 1–3 years supporting enterprise networks, including Cisco device troubleshooting.
