Job Description:
As a key member of the Library team, the Manager Student Engagement will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-quality client-focused student engagement services. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the learning and teaching experience for students at the Conservatorium of Music Library.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the development of services and facilities available at Library sites, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of students, staff, and the community.
This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues across the University and the Conservatorium High School to design and deliver innovative student engagement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include leading the management of local collections, providing operational oversight of client services and environments, and fostering relationships with Faculty and the Conservatorium High School.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and qualifications
* Holds or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
* Extensive experience in developing and communicating team goals, priorities, and organisational values
* Demonstrated experience in student engagement and/or support programs in the higher education sector
* Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff and improve team performance through mentoring and provision of staff development opportunities
* Demonstrated ability to identify and implement new and emerging technology solutions and initiatives
