The Opportunity
We are currently seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Apprentice Arborists (opportunites for both junior and mature aged).
This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for those who enjoy physical work, learning new skills, and working as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Apprentice, you'll receive full training and support while working alongside experienced crews on a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will evolve as your skills develop and may include:
* Operating woodchippers and performing ground-based pruning
* Supporting street tree pruning contracts for local councils and infrastructure partners
* Assisting with large tree pruning, removals, and dismantling
* Participating in specialist vegetation and environmental projects
Training & Development
You'll have the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications and industry tickets, including:
* Chainsaw operation
* Rope and harness climbing
* Elevated Work Platform (EWP) pruning
* Traffic Management and First Aid
* Certificate II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control
* Potential progression to Certificate III in Arboriculture for suitable candidates
