Job Description:
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering product demonstrations to secure new business opportunities. This will involve representing our product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars. You will also respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs, requests for information, and pricing requests.
You will convey customer requirements to Product Management teams and liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand details of product direction and design. This will enable you to communicate information back to sales organizations effectively.
Additionally, you will be responsible for staying abreast of product roadmaps as well as understanding scenarios, features, and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems.
This includes interacting with Product Management and Development on an ongoing basis to stay current. You will also be responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products, including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
Furthermore, you will attend conferences and work with Subject Matter Experts to research changes in business issues/requirements/regulations/technology and understand where the market is going. You will also be responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between us and our competitors.
Moreover, you will prepare for meetings and tailor communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process. You will provide feedback from the market to Product Management and Development regarding products, including coordinating gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. You should be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
It is essential to have a deep understanding of corporate cash & liquidity management processes. You should have a professional-level knowledge related to corporate financial risk management practices, particularly foreign exchange and interest rate hedging. A Bachelor's of Science in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
