About the role
Collarcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses - Mental Health/AOD to join our team on a contract basis in the Broome & Kimberley WA region. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to regional and remote communities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the healthcare industry.
What you'll be doing
Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs
Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitoring patient health and documenting progress in medical records
Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
What we're looking for
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, Mental Health or AOD units
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
