This is a full-time position 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
The Position
The successful applicant's responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following duties:
* Answering the phone and directing calls/taking messages (Reception);
* Greeting and directing visitors, setting up the meetings room, getting coffee etc;
* Ensuring reception area/meeting room and kitchen are tidy;
* Word processing and providing basic business reports (Word & Excel);
* Restocking office supplies;
* Tracking Time and Attendance for Payroll
* Banking & Post office duties
Around 50% of this role will be to support the warehouse department, assisting with despatch invoice data entry and preparation of shipping documents.
Duties include:
* Accurate and timely data entry;
* Filing and archiving;
* Ensure OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to;
* Liaising with sales and inventory teams as required;
* Coordinating delivery and collection of goods with suppliers;
* Assisting the warehouse and accounts team with admin tasks; and
Other duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager as required.
About You:
You probably describe yourself as a patient and cooperative individual, with a strong focus to attention of the details of the work, handling them with better-than-average accuracy and with careful attention to the quality
of the work. You like to do things the correct way so that errors are minimised – a measure twice, cut once type of person. You prefer to work at a steady pace with repetitive routines to promote accuracy. You appreciate having clarity around your tasks and duties which is supported by procedures to follow. You are a helpful and collaborative individual, with confident communication to internal/external customers.
What you bring to the role:
1. Similar industry experience (desirable)
2. Conscientious, consistent work
3. Sound Microsoft Office skills (*particularly Excel, Word and Outlook);
4. EXONET ERP (desirable not essential)
5. Good communication & interpersonal skills
