The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is a comprehensive, sophisticated central corporate services agency that undertakes a unified enterprise-wide approach to delivering corporate and digital services to Northern Territory Government (NTG) agencies.
As the Director Supply and Contracts, you provide strategic leadership and high-level advice to enhance the agency’s own procurement, contract management, project administration, and related reporting, as well as providing commercial business support to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership, management and mentoring of a dedicated team of supply and contract professionals.
* Driving the delivery of complex and high-risk procurements, including strategic development, planning, specification development, tender evaluation and debriefing.
* Overseeing contractor performance, contributing to governance and risk management.
* Drafting complex procurement and contract management documentation.
* Maintaining the effective day‑to‑day operations of the team.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you require extensive technical expertise in procurement, contract management and project administration, demonstrated success in developing strong relationships with contractors, sound understanding of governance and legislative compliance with excellent knowledge of commercial law. Executive-level interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and report writing proficiency are vital to contribute to the agency’s success and growth.
