Join our High Capacity Signalling Project (HCS) in supporting the assurance and compliance of the project across design, delivery and commissioning. These roles provide technical engineering support through design reviews, inspections and verification of system requirements, ensuring all works meet specifications, standards and regulatory requirements. The roles will also assist in preparing technical documentation and monitor project KPIs and performance data to support effective project delivery.
Working closely with engineering and delivery teams, you will undertake site inspections, coordinate project activities and assist with planning, scheduling and cost control. In these roles you will also collect and analyse data, maintain accurate project and asset records, and contribute to reporting, research and contract administration—making these roles hands‐on role with exposure to all stages of the HCS project.
About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* Diploma in Engineering with partial completion of an Advanced Diploma (or equivalent tertiary or workplace experience with experience in systems‐ or technology‐related disciplines across asset management, engineering and construction.
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in team environments, build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, prepare clear technical reports, and negotiate outcomes while resolving conflicts.
* Well‐developed conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to research, analyse and evaluate data, and prepare recommendation reports to address technical and operational issues.
* Highly organised and self‐motivated, able to meet targets and timelines through effective time management, with demonstrated competency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Power BI and work management software.
Eligibility
To be eligible to work at the PTA you must hold a valid work visa with at least 5 years validity and full working rights at the time of application.

Contract Details
There are currently two fixed term opportunities for 5 years available for an immediate start with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process will be placed in a pool and may also be considered for similar vacancies that may arise within the next 12 months.
