Master Scheduler | Capability Uplift Program
$1,250 - $1,350 Per Day (Inc. Super) | Initial 12-Month Contract + Extensions
About the Opportunity
Are you a scheduling expert who thrives on untangling complex dependencies and building robust frameworks? We are seeking a high-caliber Master Scheduler to join the Capability Uplift Program (CUP).
This is a long-term opportunity, starting with an initial 12-month contract with strong potential for further extensions. You won't just track dates-you will design the technical processes and standards that ensure the successful delivery of a high-profile portfolio.
The Role
As the Master Scheduler, you will be the architectural lead for the program's scheduling environment. You will work closely with the EPMO and Project Managers to create a source of truth that drives decision-making across the Core Capabilities Program (CCP).
Key Responsibilities:
* Framework Leadership: Maintain and evolve the scheduling framework and standards across all CUP projects.
* Integrated Mastery: Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the CCP, identifying critical path dependencies across the wider portfolio.
* Technical Innovation: Proactively design and build technical scheduling processes and bespoke reporting to meet diverse stakeholder needs.
* Strategic Support: Resolve complex, dynamic scheduling conflicts and provide hands‐on guidance to Delivery and Project Managers.
* Reporting Excellence: Establish and ensure accurate, high-quality scheduling reporting practices are embedded across the program.
What's in it for You?
* Competitive Rate: $1,250 - $1,350 per day (inclusive of superannuation).
* Contract Longevity: Initial 12-month term with clear pathways for extension.
* Impact: A 'blank canvas' opportunity to establish best‐practice EPMO scheduling standards.
Requirements & Travel
We are looking for a seasoned scheduler with a 'systems-thinking' mindset. You don't just use scheduling software; you understand how to build integrated ecosystems that provide clear visibility to executives.
* Industry Experience: Candidates with Utilities experience will be highly preferred.
* Expertise: Extensive experience in Master Scheduling within large‐scale programs or EPMOs.
* Tools: Expert-level proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or OpenPlan).
* Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to identify and manage complex inter‐project dependencies and mentor Project Managers.
* Compulsory Travel: This role requires compulsory interstate travel during the first week of every month. Please ensure you can meet this commitment before applying.
