An experienced Accounts Payable Officer is needed for a large busy company on the Gold Coast

Our client is a seeking the support of a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team due to the continual growth of the dynamic organisation. With a strong and reputable presence across Australia in the industry, this business is well established and has an availability in their South East Queensland office. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a positive environment.
**Your new role**
Supporting the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for completing the entire Accounts Payable function. Core duties will include invoice processing, coding, batch entry and payment, reconciliation's as well as journal preparation. In such a high volume and fast-paced role, the team leader will expect the payable's function to be completed in an accurate and timely manner.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience operating as an Accounts Payable Officer within a medium to large sized company and have a high work ethic. Key skills will include:
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role
- Possess a customer service focus and display professionalism towards both internal and external customers at all times
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, advanced skills in MS Excel
- Well-developed communications
