Our Service:
Our mental health support program offers short to medium-term assistance for individuals between the ages of 18 experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges. We work closely with them, their families, and carers to provide person-centered, recovery-oriented support and a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing, including support for physical and social needs. Our team includes a multi-disciplinary group to support consumers, their families, and carers on their health and wellbeing journey.

Role Overview:
The Service Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing our team to ensure those accessing our services receive high-quality care and support. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading, developing, and supporting a multi-disciplinary team, including rostering staff, recruitment, and onboarding new staff, providing day-to-day supervision, support, and guidance, and structured performance planning and career development.
* Monitoring internal systems to manage the day-to-day operations of the service.
* Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships vital to the service's success.
* Fostering a culture of hope, optimism, empathy, and recovery for consumers and their families and carers.
* Participating in both operational and strategic planning and implementing strategies for the service.
* Ensuring the service follows internal processes and complies with policies and procedures while operating within a framework of continuous quality improvement and risk management.
* Ensuring the service is compliant with all external regulators and contracts, including funding agreements.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, or AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (may consider applicants working towards mental health accreditation).
* A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a mental health service.
* Demonstrated experience working within a recovery-based model.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing a multi-disciplinary service delivery team, with the ability to lead the coordination of care for people with complex needs, including consultation and engagement with a wide range of professionals/stakeholders.
* Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies, and other professionals.
* The ability to meet deadlines in a high-demand work environment and exercise judgment and initiative.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Eligibility to apply for/currently hold a Blue Card.
* Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
* Current Driver's License.
