Dining Attendant / Public Area Cleaner Central Australia – Remote Northern Territory Commencing: 1 March 2026 Contract until: 30 November 2026 Casual | HIGA Award Level 2 Pay Rates Monday – Friday: $32.31 per hour Saturday: $38.78 per hour Sunday: $45.24 per hour Public Holidays: $64.63 per hour Accommodation & Meals: $150 per week About the Role Love early starts and breathtaking outback sunrises? This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being up and about in the morning and takes pride in creating a welcoming, clean, and well-run environment. Starting at 6:45am, you’ll be at the heart of the onsite dining experience—setting up breakfast service, supporting guests, and ensuring all public areas are spotless and inviting. Once breakfast wraps up, you’ll transition into public area cleaning across the property. This is a hands-on, active role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and life in a truly unique remote destination. Key Responsibilities Set up the dining area each morning, including Bain Maries Run food from the kitchen and keep Bain Maries well-stocked during service Deliver friendly, attentive, and professional customer service Pack down the dining area and return food to the kitchen Wash all breakfast service dishes (there are plenty!) Set up and pack down for morning tea groups when required Clean and maintain dining areas to a high standard General public area cleaning, including: Toilet blocks and showers Indoor and outdoor common areas Emptying bins and maintaining cleanliness across the property Assist with other duties as required What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a café, dining facility, or similar environment Physically fit and comfortable with manual and outdoor cleaning work Ability and willingness to live and work remotely Excellent communication and customer service skills A friendly, bubbly, and guest-focused personality A strong team player with a positive attitude Willing to obtain (prior to commencement): RSA Food Handlers Certificate Why This Role?
