Synergie Australia is seeking a Warehouse/Flight Clerk for our warehouse and distribution client located in Marrara.
The important parts:
1. Day shift, however, opportunities to also work afternoon and night shifts
2. $41.88 per hour
3. Work within a small but supportive team
What you will be required to do:
4. Hands-on cargo handling, including receiving, dispatching, sorting, and breaking down freight to customer specifications
5. Conducting basic serviceability and maintenance checks on vehicles/equipment, including refuelling
6. Utilising technical systems and operating office and warehouse devices
7. Operating tow motors, forklifts, and other equipment in accordance with safety protocols
8. Ensuring proper handling of freight, including loading/unloading from Barrows, ULDs, and vehicles
9. Performing cargo security screening using ETD and x-ray machines
10. Completing cargo irregularity reports in Hermes/iCargo and capturing relevant documentation/photos
To be successful in the role you will:
11. Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
12. Valid Forklift licence
13. Valid Driver's Licence
14. Previous experience working within Aviation or RAMP (highly desirable)
15. Ability and flexibility to work different shift times dependent on schedules
16. Have attention to detail & strong multitasking abilities
17. Have full working rights in Australia
18. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
