**About the Role**
This is a fabulous opportunity for a Program Support Officer to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home once training period is completed. This is an estimated 4-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Portfolio Management Assets Directorate, you will be required to provide a wide range of executive, business and project support to assist the Fire Safety Program managed by the Upgrades & Programmed Works Business Unit in achieving organisational objectives
**Responsibilities**
- Deliver professional customer service
- Assists in managing a range of projects to deliver fire safety initiatives
- Project coordination including project plans, scope, milestones, budgets, resources and deliverables
- Undertake research, gathering and collating information to support informed decision making
- Generate routine reports
- Preparation of project documentation including briefing notes, status updates, discussion papers,
- Track, monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying trends and issues, mitigating risks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and maintain registers
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating cohesion, partnerships, collaboration and contribution of ideas
- Act as the conduit to ensure effective interface and implementation
- Support the project team with adhoc tasks and implementation of project plans
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

**About You**
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Driven and highly motivated
- Solid conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite

**Requirements**:
- Demonstrated Project, Programs or Business Support experience
- Secretariat experience
- Infrastructure, Construction, Assets, Maintenance or Public Sector industry experience advantageous
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
