Temporary Works Design Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Design Manager to join our team in Newcastle.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent and possess detailed understanding of various Temporary Works solutions and relevant design standards.
You will be responsible for overseeing project implementation and compliance to the Temporary Works Manual, Project Deed & Specifications, and GMR-7: Temporary Works. This will involve establishing and managing the Temporary Works Register and design program ensuring that Temporary Works Design Briefs provide sufficient information and reviewing and approving scope and risk category of Temporary Works.
You will also be coordinating Temporary Works design with Permanent Work design and relevant subcontractor packages managing a preferred Temporary Works consultant panel and contributing to external consultant SFCA where new consultants are required.
Key responsibilities include:
