The Mine, Project & Roster
Enjoy working at the Olympic Dam Mine, an iconic Australian mine on the map of global mining. The project has 3 years left to run with highly likely extensions.
- Roster – 8:6 day shift only
- FIFO on Tuesday (fly into site and home in company time)
- Excellent camp with sports facilities, a wet mess and recreational areas
- Camp located a short drive to the mine site
The Duties
Your minimum of 2+ years post trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site.
- Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning repairs
- Duties include - PM work, scheduled maintenance, servicing, major component changeouts, general repairs, breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving
FIFO, Accommodation and Meals
You’ll enjoy a FIFO set up where accommodation and meals will be provided at the Olympic Dam mining camp. Travel in and out in company time, on day 1 and day 8. Other benefits include;-
- Modern, clean and comfortable camp accommodation
- High standard of meals provided
- Recreational facilities including a gym and spots facilities
- Interstate FIFO options (salary sacrificed flight to Adelaide)
Your value
Your minimum of 2+ years post trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant, Ag, forestry or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site. You will also have the following;-
