We are seeking experienced and skilled Sheet Metal Workers/Boilermakers to join a global leader in advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions. Job Details:
* Eagle Farm Location
* $54.00 – $60.00 per hour (depending on experience) + penalties & overtime
* 6:00am starts with 8–10 hour days
* Ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity (3–6 months to permanent)
* Immediate start available
Duties:
* Fabricating water treatment machines from laser cuts stainless steel components
* Familiar and highly competent in TIG and MIG welding
* Competent in pressing, forming and rolling
* Be able to cut out components using both a 5" grinder and hand held plasma cutter
* Assist in the assembly of machines using overhead gantry cranes and bolting
* Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
* Fabricate and weld heavy industrial filtration systems and components
* Work with various grades of stainless steel
* Have an understanding of how stainless steel reacts when being welded
Requirements:
* Trade qualification in Boilermaking Sheet Metal or Welding
* Experience welding and fabricating stainless steel
* Pressing, Rolling, Forming experience a necessity
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Background or experience with Fitting/assembly is ideal
* Commitment to quality workmanship
