The Systems Design DESN (SFIA Level 5) applicant must cover:
1. Demonstrated experience as a SFIA Level 5 DESN.
2. Qualifications and/or experience in technology products/domains (e.g., computing technologies, cloud certifications, software architecture/development qualifications, etc.).
Every application requires addressing selection criteria as part of the application submission:
1. Demonstrated experience in supporting a complex technical project and/or a Defence major acquisition, including experience with Cyber Security and/or Cyberspace Operations.
2. Ability to define, document, and carry out projects or reviews, including understanding and discussing technical capability and technology solutions.
3. Ability to perform capability and requirements analysis, detailing the current state and determining capability needs to reach the future/intended state.
4. Ability to work with stakeholders to capture needs across the technical, process, and resource domains.
5. Ability to prepare reports including the presentation of findings and proposed solutions, with high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products, including:
1. Word: styles, formatting, templates.
2. Excel: referential formulae, financial planning, and actuals records.
3. PowerPoint: professional slide decks for Executive briefings; master layout changes.
4. Project: schedule maintenance and analysis.
Familiarity with ASD and/or Signals Intelligence will be highly regarded.
