This key role in our procurement team requires a proactive individual with a can‐do attitude, responsible for performing and managing procurement and purchasing activities across the organisation. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to understand and address procurement needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clarify, define, and refine the scope of supply, supply requirements, and statement of work.
• Provide regular updates.
• Respond quickly to changing procurement requirements and project needs.
• Make fast, informed decisions under tight deadlines to minimise project disruption.
• Address supplier issues quickly to ensure project timelines are met.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate procurement risks.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for procurement systems and process improvements and efficiency.
• Foster a proactive and solutions‐oriented approach to procurement challenges.
• Address problems that are not immediately evident but complex, difficult to resolve and would cause delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
• Approach the market, including obtaining quotes, releasing requests for tender, evaluating offers, and assessing the market's capacity to supply.
• Initiate and support supply chain due diligence activities.
• Perform procurement planning and scheduling.
• Contribute to performance management against key performance indicators and performance reporting.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Equivalent experience or a Cert IV in Supply Chain (Procurement, Material Logistics), Contracting, Business, Commerce, Law, Finance, or a relevant technical background.
• Minimum of 5 years of previous relevant procurement and/or purchasing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
• Ability to create impactful presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint for stakeholders.
• Prioritise tasks effectively to handle multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Advanced understanding and ability to use software/online‐based procurement/purchasing management systems.
