Role Description

The Electronic Security BDM VIC is a full‐time, on‐site role based at Entag's Sunshine Coast, QLD location, focused on growing the electronic security portfolio across Victoria. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in electronic security solutions, including access control, CCTV, video analytics, and integrated security systems. Day‐to‐day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and site visits, preparing proposals and tenders, and managing the end‐to‐end sales cycle. The role works closely with technical, project, and vendor partners to design tailored security solutions that address client requirements, compliance standards, and risk profiles. The Electronic Security BDM VIC also maintains strong account relationships, provides ongoing client support, and contributes to sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence to help shape Entag's security strategy.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within electronic security, access control, CCTV, or related physical security solutions.
  • Strong capability in solution selling, including requirements discovery, solution design collaboration, proposal development, and deal negotiation.
  • Solid understanding of security technologies and standards (e.g., IP surveillance, video management systems, access control platforms, networking fundamentals).
  • Experience working with or alongside technology vendors and channel partners to deliver integrated security solutions.
  • Well‐developed communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline, meet revenue targets, and produce accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Strong organisational and time‐management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Comfort working on‐site with clients, including conducting site assessments and collaborating with technical teams on solution scoping.
