Due to increased workload and growth, we have opportunities available for an experienced Excavator Operator to operate our 8T Hitachi excavator in the Maitland and Newcastle regions of NSW.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating small excavators between 1.7T – 8T on a variety of projects
* Use of multiple attachments
* Safe and efficient operation of machinery
* General labouring tasks such as digging, shovelling, loading and unloading materials
* Set up and dismantle onsite equipment
* Supporting skilled tradespeople and operators onsite
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Adhering to our safe work practices and operating procedures
* Completing all tasks to a high-quality standard and in accordance with project specifications

To be successful in your application you will need to possess:
* 5 years' experience in the civil industry
* Experience operating 5-8 t excavators
* HR Drivers Licence
* Excavator competencies and/or VOC
* OHS Construction Card (White Card) or willing to obtain.
* Willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
