About Your Role Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Communications Manager – Reputation & Impact to work within our Strategy and Impact. The Communications Manager – Reputation & Impact reports to the Head of Communications and Engagement and is responsible for leading integrated communications and media strategies. The role focuses on major announcements, initiatives, impact stories and campaigns that are audience-informed and data-driven. It aims to increase staff and stakeholder awareness, strengthen Scope’s brand, and reduce reputational risk. The position also supports the delivery of Scope’s programs and initiatives through effective communication. When required, the manager provides leadership and surge support to other communications functions. This ensures continuity of communications during emergencies, crises, or peak periods. Your Key Focus Lead the delivery of strategic, multi-channel communications that align with organisational goals and priorities. Create and share engaging content across all channels, including written, video, graphic, social media, and photography. Support issues, crisis, and emergency management communications in partnership with the Head of Communications & Engagement. Champion innovative ideas and new approaches to enhance the impact and effectiveness of communications across the organisation. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. What We Look For Relevant tertiary qualification in communications or equivalent experience. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively. Excellent writing and editing skills across multiple formats, with the ability to simplify complex information into engaging content. Strong collaboration, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organisation. Experience using multimedia tools such as Canva, video and image editing software, and emerging technologies (including AI), or the ability to quickly learn these skills.
