Our client is seeking a
Farm Hand
to support day-to-day operations of our breeder farm located in Cobbitty. If you're reliable, hands-on, and looking for a stable role in a growing agricultural business, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a Farm Hand, you will play an important role in maintaining quality egg production while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. You\'ll be working closely with our Farm Manager and team to ensure smooth operations across egg collection, grading, sanitation, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily operation of the egg room and cool room.
Collect eggs from laying sheds and ensure they're cleaned and graded according to standards.
Maintain accurate records for egg production and reporting.
Uphold hygiene and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines.
Clean and sanitize egg handling equipment, egg sorting room, and egg holding room as required.
Support and follow Pepe's Ducks WHS and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and farm managers.
Participate in ongoing training and quality assurance programs.
Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Farm Manager.
About You:
Previous farm, agriculture, or hands-on experience preferred (but not essential).
Willing to work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
