Overview
The Family: A busy and professional family with two energetic girls in Year 4 and Year 5 seeking an experienced and highly reliable nanny to join them long term. The household is active and structured, with homework and routine a priority.
Role details
Both parents work demanding professional roles with some flexibility to work from home. You will take initiative and manage the before- and after-school routine independently.
Days and hours: 3-4 days per week. Morning shift: 6:30/7:00am–9:30am. Afternoon shift: 2:00pm–6:00pm. Flexible days to be agreed with the right candidate. Long-term position. Start date: February 2026. Rate: $35-$45 per hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
* Manage before- and after-school routines for two school-aged children.
* Support homework routines and provide a structured, safe, and engaging environment.
* Coordinate with parents to ensure consistency with family routines.
* Maintain punctuality, reliability, and proactive communication.
Qualifications
* Experience as a nanny with school-age children.
* Confident, independent, proactive, and able to take initiative.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage routines.
