You will be working closely with a fantastic Retail Manager and a dedicated Leasing/Marketing Coordinator in a highly collaborative environment. In addition to your core marketing responsibilities, this position also includes weekend Duty Manager responsibilities on a rostered basis, specifically: Friday (late night shopping) 1pm - 9pm Saturday and Sunday as rostered For each duty weekend worked, you will receive two days in lieu. Key Responsibilities: Develop, lead and implement an annual strategic marketing plan to drive foot traffic, increase retailer sales and elevate the Centre's brand presence. Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers to understand their business needs and align marketing activities accordingly. Plan and deliver a rolling 12-month calendar of promotional events, campaigns and advertising activities. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activity remains within financial parameters and delivers measurable results. Conduct market research, track local competitor activity, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Coordinate with media outlets, write press releases, and ensure appropriate coverage of Centre activities. Engage with the local community, clubs, and associations to build meaningful partnerships and support initiatives that reflect the Centre's values. Collaborate with the broader Centre Management team to ensure marketing efforts align with operational and leasing strategies. Support and mentor the Marketing Coordinator while contributing to national marketing initiatives where appropriate. About You: Retail experience is essential. You must have a background in retail environments, ideally within a shopping centre, retail property or retail-focused marketing role. Proven experience developing and executing marketing plans, events and campaigns with measurable outcomes. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams, retailers and the local community. Ability to manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain a high level of organisation across multiple projects. Experience using customer and sales insights to inform marketing strategy. Confident writing newsletters, marketing content, and press releases. A hands-on, proactive approach to problem solving and managing a diverse workload. Why Apply?
