We are seeking an experienced professional for a long-term project in Canberra. This individual will work closely with the project team to ensure that all quality requirements are met while following the Project Quality Management System.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in a Quality Assurance Engineer or Manager role, and from within the Construction or Civil Infrastructure industries.
Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail in managing quality, experience implementing processes, and excellent time management skills and strong planning and prioritisation abilities are essential.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and Managing the Project Quality Management Plan.
* Coordinating Quality Planning activities and establishing Project QA audit Schedule.
* Conducting audits and preparing and issuing reports and corrective actions.
* Assisting Project Engineers with auditing of suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
* Monitoring ITP approval, Measuring and Test Equipment, Document and Drawing control, and completion of construction quality records to ensure that they are kept up to date.
* Managing the 3rd party inspection process on site as required.
* Implementing and monitoring Lendlease internal quality control processes.
Requirements
* To be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
* Hold a Government Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain one (we will help support this).
* 5+ years' industry experience, ideally in a Quality Assurance Engineer or Manager role, and from within the Construction or Civil Infrastructure industries.
* Healthcare, Defence and/or Government project experience will be highly regarded.
* Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail in managing quality.
* Experience implementing processes and the ability to continuously evaluate and refine these.
* Excellent time management skills and strong planning and prioritisation abilities.
