Full-Time Temporary

37.5 per week

2x positions available


$104,540 - $125,093 per annum (pro rata)

Total Effective Package*

$128,925 - $154,042


About the role

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation and day-to-day management of one or more research projects at Congress. This includes planning, stakeholder consultation, risk management and delivering project outcomes in alignment with Congress's Research Strategy.


The Project Coordinator is expected to provide leadership in building and maintaining professional relationships, ensuring effective communication and coordination across technical, cultural and service delivery teams. The position also supports continuous quality improvement by contributing to evaluation activities, developing culturally appropriate knowledge-sharing materials and implement findings.


To be considered for this position, you will require:

* Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g. Health Science, Community Service, Social Science or Public Health) or equivalent experience in a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in project coordination in the area of community development, health services and/or social services, with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders and deliverables.
* Experience in research methods and study design, including data collection, analysis and management with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel.
* Demonstrated written communication skills, including the ability to contribute to and develop reports, publications, data collection tools, study protocols and/or conference presentations.
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural settings and build relationships with diverse range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects independently and manage competing priorities, while seeking guidance when necessary.
* Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations on occasions.
