A café leader is sought to oversee daily operations of a small team, working in a social enterprise cafe. This role involves leading by example in service excellence, coffee making, and order processing.
About the Café Leader
The ideal candidate will be passionate about great coffee and thrive in a team environment. They should have strong communication skills and a hands-on, team-focused approach.
 * A passion for mentoring and empowering people with diverse abilities (experience working with people with a disability is an advantage).
 * The ability to build great relationships with customers, especially older people.
 * Strong communication skills and a hands-on, team-focused approach.
 * The ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems proactively.
 * First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certification
 * Experience in staff supervision and using POS systems
 * Full Australian working rights
 * Minimum 2 Covid 19 vaccinations or valid medical exemption
 * Willing to apply for an NDIS Working Screening check (an existing one is an advantage)
