Job Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team at Stockland Shellharbour Shopping Centre. The Facilities Manager is responsible for organising and coordinating the operational management of the Centre whilst containing expenditure within budget. Ensure proper and efficient operation of the Centre's physical aspects, creating and sustaining a safe and productive environment for the occupants.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Assume responsibility for processes and procedures related to the delivery of a safe, compliant, well-maintained, and sustainable Centre
Promote and ensure full compliance with Stockland's WH&S policies and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all occupants
Assist with operational and capital expenditure budgets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder groups
Develop and maintain industry relationships
Identify and manage improvements through compliance assessments (e.g., Fire, Premise Standards, EEO, WH&S Regulations)
Establish and drive programs to optimise waste, energy, and water usage at the Centre
Identify and implement WH&S improvements, system enhancements, hazard elimination, and environmental risk mitigation
Manage the supply chain ensuring standards of service delivery are met cost-effectively
About You
You will have shopping centre or large-scale facility management experience. You should be driven, tech-savvy, and organized, capable of handling administrative tasks. Additional requirements include:
Experience in Facilities Management or Coordination, preferably in retail
Knowledge of WH&S and legislative compliance
Experience in customer service and relationship management
Budget management skills
Strong client service orientation and relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
