As a Business Management Officer, you will be assisting to deliver effective, accurate and timely tasks, initiatives and projects for the R&I Group across a wide range of business‐management related functions, including but not limited to executive reporting & administration, communications, project support, procurement and business continuity management.

* Salary between $97,401 to $115,820 (depending on experience) plus up to 15.4% superannuation

The team
The Registry and Intelligence (R&I) division encompasses several teams - Registry Operations, Intelligence, Regulatory Insights & Assessment and the Business Management Unit which collectively support ASIC's intelligence‐led regulatory approach. They utilise data‐driven insights to efficiently manage business registers, assess reports, oversee information and data from internal and external sources, and drive innovation to improve regulatory decision‐making. Additionally, R&I is responsible for maintaining ASIC's physical and digital libraries, archives, knowledge management and digital subscriptions.
The role
* Partnering with R&I business area teams to ensure timely and high‐quality reporting, including gathering inputs, validating data and delivering the required reporting in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring reporting outputs are clear, useful and aligned with communication and change objectives
* Coordinating and supporting a range of executive‐level meetings and other activities, preparing agendas, presentation materials and providing administrative and logistical support as required
* Providing project administration and input to a range of BMU‐led projects and other ad hoc tasks or priorities as directed by the Senior Manager BMU
* Coordinating internal communications and engagement events for the Group (including available learning and development opportunities and culture initiatives), coordinating divisional all staff logistics and materials, and maintaining the newsletters and relevant SharePoint sites
* Preparing documentation or requests for procurement, working with Procurement stakeholders as required
* Support the R&I group in a range of business‐management related activities, including but not limited to business planning, risk management, business continuity planning, procurement, communication, compliance and reporting activities
* Building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across R&I and the broader ASIC group to ensure communication, change and reporting activities are well informed, accurate and meaningful
About You
* Relevant tertiary or vocational qualification
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communications experience highly regarded
* Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills, with the ability to influence, consult and collaborate
* Proven ability to develop high quality presentations and documents with strong attention to detail
* Well developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take accountability for outcomes
* Strong relationship building skills with colleagues and stakeholders
* Experience working collaboratively with senior executives and cross functional teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; advanced skills highly advantageous
