Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Lead Educator to join our Gumdale team in providing a safe and stimulating environment which meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational and physical needs of the children and encourages parent and community participation.

About the Role
This is a permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday based in the Toddler room. As our Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for the children in our care.
Responsibilities
* Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
* Lead, develop and implement engaging, high-quality educational programs
* Mentor and support educators to plan and deliver meaningful learning experiences
* Overseeing and approving centre Storypark posts
* Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity
* Provide constructive feedback to educators to promote continuous improvement and a culture of positive change
* Collaborate with families to ensure each child's learning journey is supported and enriched

You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.
Key skills and requirements
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
* Approved Blue Card
* A genuine passion for nurturing young learners
* Experience leading play‐based, holistic curriculum
* Strong written communication and documentation skills
* Ability to give constructive, growth‐focused feedback
* Excellent time‐management in a fast‐paced environment
