Job Title: Compliance Officer
About the Role:
The Compliance Improvement Officer is a key role within our organization, responsible for organizing and conducting internal and external audits across various divisions. This position involves reviewing and auditing operational sites and contractor sites to ensure compliance with safety management systems and relevant laws.
Responsibilities:
* The review and audit of Boral operational sites and contractor sites, to ensure company and contractors are compliant with Safety Management Systems, Controls in Driver Licencing, Health & Training, Speed, Fatigue, Mass/Dimension & Loading, and Vehicle Standards.
* Educating Boral employees, contractors, and customers in heavy vehicle safety and compliance requirements when non-compliance is identified.
* Conducting investigations of potential breaches of the Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Law.
Requirements:
* A strong understanding of Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Law, Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Standards, and WA Chain of Responsibility Legislation.
* Excellent record-keeping skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to close out audit non-conformances within required timeframes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
