What this role is all about
Based in our Adelaide office, this role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality electrical design solutions across a broad range of projects including commercial, health, education, defence, and major infrastructure.
You'll work as part of a national, multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with project leaders and clients to deliver design excellence and innovation.
You'll have the autonomy to manage your own projects from concept through to completion, while playing a key role in shaping the ongoing growth of our Adelaide Electrical team.
As a senior member of the discipline, you'll also mentor emerging engineers, contribute to business development, and represent Lucid at industry events and forums.
How you'll contribute day-to-day
• Lead and deliver electrical design projects with technical excellence
• Provide design certification and QA reviews in line with Lucid standards
• Support, mentor, and develop junior and graduate engineers
• Build and maintain strong client and contractor relationships
• Prepare fee proposals and contribute to business development opportunities
• Attend site inspections, client meetings, and industry events as a Lucid representative
What sets you up for success
• Is degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• Has proven building services consultancy experience
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
• Brings experience leading projects and mentoring engineers
• Communicates clearly and works confidently with clients
• Holds (or is working toward) CPEng, RPEQ or equivalent
