Home to the most exciting thrill rides and the coolest waterslides on the planet, Dreamworld has a unique opportunity for a Maintenance Officer (Non-Trade Qualified) to join our Engineering team.
The role of a Maintenance Officer is to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks such as servicing of rides, assisting tradesmen, strip and cleaning of parts, general repairs, painting and labouring duties to assist with the upkeep and maintenance requirements of the Engineering Department. This is a fantastic career development opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
**No previous experience is required however to be considered, you must have**:
- Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn whilst maintaining safe work practices
- Able to work at heights up to 130 metres;
- Good physical dexterity with the ability to perform physically demanding work;
- Motivated with an enthusiastic approach to work tasks;
- Reliable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- A current c-class drivers licence;
- Must be willing and prepared to undertake further training relevant to the role.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster is essential, including weekends, early mornings, days and nights as required.
This is a part time position which guarantees between 20 - 38 hours per week. Full availability and flexibility with working hours is essential as weekend, early morning and shift work is involved and may be on a rotational basis.
