The Digital Transformation office supports the important work of Queensland Courts through a combination of internal resources and external suppliers.
It focuses on ensuring new and emerging technologies are implemented according to DOJ frameworks and standards and meet the needs of Courts and Tribunals Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise to support, maintain, and enhance critical business applications.
Develop, undertake and continuously refine routine, proactive system checks and maintenance activities on business-critical systems.
Provide specialist technical knowledge and skills in the fulfilment of requests from clients, other IT teams, or external service providers.
Provide responsive escalated technical support in the investigation and resolution of complex incidents and problems.
Assist in the delivery of discrete operational project work packages or managed activities as directed by your team leader or the management team.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including clients, colleagues, other business units, and external providers.
Maintain an awareness of current and emerging whole of Government ICT through researching strategies, policies, standards, and relevant technologies and industry best practice.
Use your initiative and proactive approach to identify opportunities and initiatives that will enhance ICT delivered services.
Technical Skills, Abilities and Cultural Capability
Knowledge and/or experience of application administration and support practices for applications that use Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Power Platform.
Sound knowledge and/or experience with technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Solaris and Unix servers.
Knowledge and experience working in an IT application support environment that supports and maintains critical services with demanding service level targets.
Sound understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and request management along with continuous improvement principles.
Knowledge of Court and registry procedures including the use of required technology in Queensland Courts, or a willingness to gain knowledge quickly.
Knowledge of Courts applications and their operation in courts and the ability to analyse and recommend solutions to non-technical issues arising from the operation of the applications.
